BISMARCK, ND - North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) recently announced $3 million in matching grant funding available for the Statewide Health Strategies Grant program. The application deadline has been extended to May 31.
The grant is funded by the state Legislature in House Bill 1004 and embodies a collective dedication to improving health outcomes across the state. It empowers communities to identify and address local health priorities with matching funds.
Public, private, nonprofit organizations, tribal nations, local political subdivisions and other entities working towards community health improvement are encouraged to apply. The grant funding aligns with HHS’s vision to make North Dakota the healthiest state in the nation.
