Substance Use Prevention

Cavalier County Health District recognizes the impact of addictive substances of the health of our population and works with individuals, schools, businesses, and government agencies to reduce the impact of tobacco, alcohol, misused prescription drugs and illicit drugs on our communities.

Services offered include referral to tobacco cessations services, health education to individuals and groups, assistance with alcohol and tobacco free policy, drug take back events, and participation in coalition work.
