MINOT, ND (JULY 17, 2025) - North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) is bringing a strong presence to the 2025 North Dakota State Fair in Minot, offering fairgoers access to valuable health information, wellness resources and opportunities to connect with health and human services experts.
Mobile Medical Unit: Supporting safety and public engagement
Located on the fairgrounds, the HHS Mobile Medical Unit will serve two key roles throughout the fair:
Family Day Festival
Representatives from various HHS programs will participate in the Family Day Festival on Tuesday, July 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. under the SRT Festival Tent near Gate E.
Parents and caregivers can learn about the importance of Medicaid wellness visits for infants, children and teens; how to become a foster care provider and find out about the benefits of quality child care.
Parents Lead Booth: Conversations that matter
Parents Lead will be set up in the Commercial II Building, promoting their program, which helps parents and caregivers support their children’s behavioral health through meaningful communication and connection.
This year’s theme, “There’s no right time. Just start talking,” encourages families to use everyday moments—like meals, walks or drives—as opportunities to check in and connect.
